Is your TV prepared to go digital?
The government-mandated Digital TV Transition has been extended to June 12th 2009. If you have one or more televisions that receive free over-the-air television programming (with a roof-top antenna or “rabbit ears” on the TV), the type of TV you own is very important. A digital television (a TV with an internal digital tuner) will allow you to continue to watch free over-the-air programming. However, if you have an analog television, you will need a digital-to-analog converter box to continue to watch broadcast television on that set.
But don’t wait, many stations will cease analog (old style) broadcasts well before the deadline.
We'd hate to think of you going off the grid. Think of all the reality TV you'd miss. So to be safe, enter your RCA television model number below. You'll know for sure if you're ready.
