HD Signal Source

If you want to enjoy the full potential of your RCA LCD HDTV, you'll need an HD signal source. A 1080p-capable television won't provide a 1080p picture if the signal source isn't also 1080p. Simply put, what goes in is what comes out. For example, on a top-of-the line 1080p LCD, a VCR tape from 1987 is going to look like - well - a VCR tape from 1987.

So, when you take home your new 1080p LCD, make sure you also upgrade to your cable or satellite provider's HD package. That way, your new TV will truly be able to strut its stuff for you.
