Safety
You can't truly appreciate the Color Beyond Reality of your new RCA LCD without being certain that it's operated in a safe manner. Depending on whether your set is placed on its stand or wall mounted, there are different safety tips to keep in mind. Be sure to read and follow all safety tips included with the set you purchase.
For LCDs on stands, it's important to place the set in a stable spot. Avoid unstable or top-heavy surfaces such as plastic crates. Also, be sure to run all wires and cords in a manner that prevents children from tugging or pulling on them. And remember, avoid placing your television on a dresser or a chest of drawers, as children may be tempted to climb the furniture to get closer to the television.
If you choose to wall mount your LCD, be sure to follow all the mounting instructions and use a mount that's appropriate for your television's weight and size. If you're unsure about your ability to mount the set, there are plenty of trained professionals who can do it for you. In many cases, the retail store where you purchased your set will offer installation services.
